Everybody is welcome at Electric Snake Tattoo Co with absolutely no judgement. We offer a safe, inclusive, comfortable space and will always make adjustments for your comfortability and/or needs wherever possible.
If you have any specific needs or queries that aren't answered by the information below, please send us an e-mail or DM to discuss. We're dedicated to making sure that your tattoo experience is as comfortable as possible.

We are wheelchair accessible through our front door and the studio is located on the ground floor with no stairs.

​Our front desk/reception area is large and open with no obstacles.

We have a row of folding 'cinema-style' chairs in the waiting area.
Tattooing Space

​Our studio is large and open with no obstacles.

All tattooing furniture is on wheels and easily moved.

We have pillows and privacy screens available at request.

We have air conditioning and heating.

We have water, tea & coffee, sugary soft drinks and sweets available at request for customers.

We have space for you to bring a friend/support to your session. If you require more than one person to accompany you, please let us know beforehand so we can try to accommodate your needs.

Our tattoo beds are larger than your average massage table, measuring (L) 193cm x (W) 70cm. They have a max weight capacity of 230kg. The height of the beds can be adjusted from 46cm - 91cm.

You can lay down on a tattoo bed or sit upright while getting tattooed, depending on the area on the body. We will always make sure you're comfortable, whilst also allowing us to access the necessary area.

Depending on the area you are getting tattooed, we may be able to tattoo you in your own wheelchair, provided that the brakes are working well and the chair has limited movement/give. This will largely depend on the location of your tattoo and will need to be discussed on a case-by-case basis with your tattooist.

Bathrooms

Our bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

We have two bathrooms, with sanitary products provided in both.

For those with sensory issues, please be aware that our hand dryers are a bit loud!
Sounds & Smells

We use daily wax melts which disperse evenly and are never too strongly scented.

The cleaning materials we use in the shop are also not strongly scented and all smells disperse by the time the shop opens.

We use an alcohol solution for cleaning the skin before tattooing begins and Butterluxe products throughout/after.

There is conversational noise and the sound of tattoo machines running, along with background-level music.

Feel free to bring headphones, earplugs or other noise cancelling tools and let your artist know how best to communicate with you if needed.

Feel free to bring fidget toys, sensory aids and other comfort items with you, but please be aware that some movement may be restricted depending on your tattoo placement.

On rare occasions, dogs ​​will visit the shop. They are always well-behaved and friendly, but prior to your appointment, please let us know if you're uncomfortable with dogs so we can make adjustments.

Allergies

Please let your artist know before your appointment, if you suffer from any allergies. Particularly latex and adhesives, as items containing these are often used in tattooing. By knowing your requirements in advance, we can make sure that we're well-prepped with alternatives.

If you are allergic to dogs, please let us know before your appointment, so we can make sure there are no furry visitors on the day.

We use latex gloves by default, but have nitrile gloves available when tattooing a customer with a latex allergy.
Health Conditions & Medication

When you're first tattooed by us, you'll sign a consent form with details regarding health conditions and/or medication. Please fill this out accurately, as some health conditions/medications can effect the tattoo or healing process - We won't turn you down, we just want to make sure you're comfortable and that your tattoo looks the best it can!
